Connections and the Women's Resource and Action Center (WRAC) present "Marriage: Things to Consider Before Tying the Knot".

In April, Iowa became the fourth state to legalize same-sex marriage. While many couples have already taken the leap and made their relationships legal others are still contemplating what legal marriage might mean for their relationship. What are the legal pros and cons of marriage for same sex couples?

Join area attorney Eddi krug who will share information about various legal aspects of same sex marriage and why you may or may not benefit from getting married. She won’t be giving legal advice, of course, but will help shed some light on some of the pros and cons that you might want to take into account as you consider your decision.

Eddi krug is an attorney with 27 years experience with an office in North Liberty. She has tried numerous cases in federal and state courts and has an active family law practice. She also was formerly married and conducted pre-marriage planning classes for engaged couples.
