Connections Forum: Membership Meeting

Come and discuss the future of Connections, see old friends and make new ones at our annual membership meeting.  Help us choose three new directors for our board, and recognize the contributions of our 2009 volunteers. Snacks will be provided and there will be a cash bar. Help Connections with its mission to "form, build and sustain queer community."

Note: Membership meetings are normally held in January. Scheduling conflicts resulted in moving the 2010 membership meeting to February.

Brief Synopsis

Attendance: 15, including candidates and board members

Election: The current board members of Connections were introduced.

Three members were presented for Board of Director election by the Nominating Committee:

• Becky Gradisher (Orr)
• Drew McDonald
• Bridget Malone

All three were elected.

Connections extends its many thanks to Ellen Krug and Mark Moen, retiring board members, for their many years of volunteer service to Connections and the LGBT Community.

Volunteer Recoginition: As a volunteer organization, Connections would not exist without the help and work of its many volunteers. Awards were presented to thirteen volunteers in recognition of their continued contributions to Connections.
