Tuesday, June 1
A Night at the Movies

Pride Week begins Tuesday, June 1st with “A Night at the Movies” at Collins Road Theaters showing "Transmerica" at 7pm. This event is FREE, special thanks to Rockwell Collin's Pride Network. Donations will be accepted for the Linn County Aging and Disability Resource Center with funds going to support those living with HIV/AIDS (Ryan White Project).

Wednesday, June 2
Come As You Are Theatre

CSPS/Legion Arts, the Cedar Rapids Gay & Lesbian Resource Center, ACE experiment, Hamburger Mary's CR and Theatre Offensive bring you "Come As You Are". Small plays performed by local talent...think Gay Vagina Monologues AND Performance Art. Show starts at 9:30 PM @ Hamburger Marys with ticket 6$ in advance and 9$ at the door. Community Appreciation Potluck

This event will start at 6pm at Club Basix. Bring your favorite dish or side item and come enjoy this free event! All ages until 7pm. If you'd like to volunteer for CR Pride Fest, come to this event and learn about the opportunities available!

Pride Prom

Didn’t make it to Prom with the one you love? Well come on out Friday Night for Pride Prom at Hamburger Mary’s! It’s a great time to get dolled up, enjoy some good food, get your Prom Picture taken and compete to win the coveted Prom King or Queen Crown(s)! Event costs just 3$. Prom theme, "There's No Place Like Home"

Cedar Rapids Pride Fest 2010

After the Downtown District's FIRST Farmer’s Market of the year ends at noon, join us at Greene Square Park for a celebration of diversity at the Cedar Rapids Pride Fest 2010.

The Cedar Rapids Gay & Lesbian Resource Center, Cedar Rapids Downtown District, Planned Parenthood of East Central Iowa, Rockwell Collin's Pride Network, Club Basix, Hamburger Mary's Cedar Rapids, Diversity Focus, KZIA Z 102.9 and MetLife, as well as several other local organizations, will present an afternoon of music, food, and fun! Retail vendors, food vendors, informational booths, family activities, and a beer tent will be set up for your enjoyment! Bring your chairs and/or a blanket and join us in celebrating LGBT Pride! We’ll have speakers and musical entertainment from the area featuring The Jodie Foster Connection, King-N-His Naughty Bunnies and our local Quire!

Sunday, June 6
Pride Brunch

After all the fun and festivities from the week, come out and relax at the Pride Brunch on Sunday at the Cedar Rapids Piano Lounge from noon to 3pm. Cost is $15 with food catered by Zin's.
