Iowa City Pride Patio Party

Come gather with friends and family as we raise money to give back to the community and rock the night away. Enjoy downtown Iowa City at its summer finest. The Sheraton Patio overlooks the Ped Mall and we will be rocking to the sounds of the Friday Night Concert Series presenting the Diplomats of Solid Sound featuring The Diplomettes. Join us for free appetizers and a cash bar as we officially kick of Iowa City Pride Fest!

College Green Park to Downtown Ped Mall

The Iowa City Pride Parade will walk, ride, skate, dance, roll, and shimmy from College Green Park to the downtown Iowa City Pedestrian Mall. Come out to watch or march and show your support for Iowa's longest running Gay Pride Parade.

Iowa City Pride Festival
Saturday, June 19, noon
Downtown Ped Mall

After the Iowa City Pride Parade, bring your family and friends to the shady Ped Mall for delicious food, entertainment and vendors. Music includes Lojo Russo and The Jodie Foster Connection. Enjoy snow cones, face painting, and an exciting afternoon on the downtown Iowa City Ped Mall. (Don't forget to bring your own lawn chair.)

Iowa City Pride Gay Garden Tour
Sunday, June 20, 8:30am

Meet at Happy Hallow Park between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. The tour sets off at 9 AM and visits a variety of gardens in the Iowa City area. Don't miss one of Iowa City's oldest Pride events and a "perennial" favorite with your host Michael Blake.
